Open Space is inspired and organised by the Kynourio Soma core team, including Aggeliki Papadatou, Helen Noakes and Aggeliki Golegou. Open Space is an ever changing canvas. We eagerly welcome other gifted artists and somatic instructors to share their expertise and creativity.

Open Space embarked on its inspiring journey in 2021, as a stepping stone towards the official inception of Kynourio Soma.
True to its name, it creates open spaces for new encounters and experiences, embracing people of all ages, whether they are seasoned locals or curious visitors.

The selection of venue and themes directly addresses the needs and diversity of the local community, making contemporary art accessible to all and enhancing cultural accessibility.
The Heart of the Initiative: “8 Alonia”
Taking place at the site of “8 Alonia” in the location of Gouvia in the Tsakonian settlement of Sapounakaiika in Tyros, Kynouria, Arcadia, it serves as the focal point of this initiative. Artists from the region, visitors, and community members have the possiblity to actively participate not only in the event itself but also in the whole process, from the preparation upto the final event.
